GTA Online multiplayer is now partying for good reasons: the 25th anniversary of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Launched in October 2013, it is part of the saga that bears the same name and has decided to give out a series of rewards due to its celebration.
Although fans didn’t know exactly when Grand Theft Auto’s 25th anniversary was, what was a given was that it officially kicked off in November. An error in a Google listing claimed that the series was released in October 1997. That said, fans were excited because they believed that Rockstar Games was about to promote the next game of Grand Theft Auto in the month of October, to coincide with the first release. However, there was no reveal and no information about the upcoming game. In this sense, Rockstar Games has promised that it will provide more information, but while this happens, we will have to take a look at the news that the franchise brings us.

After 25 years of success and popularity, it’s only fitting that Rockstar Games has managed to to celebrate this anniversary in a memorable way. In the GTA Online weekly update, players will be able to get rare items like the Kuckleduster and Baseball Bat shirts simply by logging into the game. However, the Kuckledusters had already been used in the past to promote Grand Theft Auto 3, through a special coffee mug that was put up for sale. In addition, the baseball bat has been an icon for the saga since Grand Theft Auto 3 and is one of the most accessible weapons in the titles given its practicality.
The good news is that the anniversary celebration does not end here, as Rockstar has also decided to continue with the heist event by increasing the chance of finding the invaluable stature of the panther in the Cayo Perico heist.
