This same week Microsoft confirmed the celebration of a new event format known as Developer Direct through which they will share news of some of their most important releases of the year, such as Forza Motorsport o Redfall, the new from Arkane Studios. After the announcement, it was confirmed that Starfield will later have its own event and the duration of this event has already been set, which will be around 40 minutes.

This new event format, unlike the old Inside Xbox, will not have a presenter and will be led by the developers of each study, which will guide through news and gameplay that is displayed for each of the games. The Xbox Developer Direct will take place next January 25 at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time).

It has been Aaron Greenberg, head of communication and marketing for Xbox, who has confirmed through his personal Twitter account that this Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct will last 43 minutes. Greeberg assures that, following the line of transparency that is usual in Microsoft, they want to make it very clear to the players what to expect from this event. In the absence of any last-minute surprises being confirmed, it will focus exclusively on four games: Forza Motrosport, Redfall, The Elder Scrolls Online y Minecraft Legends.

It is expected that news of each of the four games will be presented, which are three of the Microsoft releases planned for this first half of 2023 and the ever-present Zenimax Online MMO, which will announce new content and events. It should not be ruled out that the release date of both Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfallwhich leaked for May.
