After the successful relaunch of the Crash Bandicoot series thanks to Crash Bandicoot: N’Sane Trilogy, the Crash Team Racing remake and finally Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, it seems that Activion has plans to continue expanding the franchise with new installments. According to the latest rumors, the company would be developing two more games.
It is unknown which studies within Activision would be taking charge of these projects, taking into account that Vicarious Visions was absorbed by Blizzard, but hopefully at least Toys for Bobcreators of the latest installment, are working on one of these games.
This rumor comes from The Real Insider, a new Twitter account that has recently become very popular on the networks after several leaks very successful. This is the same leaker that just a few weeks ago claimed that PlayStation will soon announce a new IP.

It is not the first time that we have heard about new installments of Crah Bhandicoot in recent months, it has been ringing for a long time some kind of multiplayer gamebut so far there has been no official announcement from Activision.
In recent years there has been some controversy over the way Activision manages development teams due to the centralism that exists within the company around Call of Duty and its different deliveries. Last year it was said that Toys for Bob had suffered significant layoffs and had been relegated to work on Call of Duty: Warzone despite the success of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
There would be few years of Call of Duty on PlayStation and Sony sees the Xbox offer “inadequate”
The future of Activision Blizzard and its games
If everything goes as expected, Activision Blizzard will become part of Microsoft in the middle of next year, we will see if under a new directive Activision starts to bet more on other IPs of the company instead of having all its teams working on different iterations of Call of Duty. License that keeps PlayStation and Xbox facing each other for its future as exclusive or cross-platform game.
