The title has not shown new material for a year.
Almost a year ago we were able to see how Star Wars Eclipse was presentedthis being the game that would offer a new point of view to the universe created in the 70s by George Lucas, since, after all, was to be developed by Quantic Dreamthe studio behind titles like Detroit Bechome Humna, Heavy Rain, among others.
However, from what has been known so far, the new Star Wars title would not only add a new race never seen before, but It would be quite far from what is shown in other video games created by the studio French, thereby giving rise to the fact that, between this and the license they are dealing with, there are people who, at least, are curious about it.
Star Wars Eclipse Won’t Be A New Version Of Detroit According To Quantic Dream Founder
That is why, to give more context, in a recent interview during G-Star, a South Korean video game fair, David Cage, founder of Quantic Dream, has spoken about Star Wars Eclipse as the studio’s most ambitious projectwhile the director affirms that it will not be a new version of Detroit Become Human, establishing the first distinction in the fact that Eclipse is more linked to science fiction, making it clear here that his previous project considers it as a prediction.
In the same way, when asked about the changes that would take place in the world as we advance in history, he has refused to answer due to the possible spoilers that this information would reveal, especially knowing that interactive drama is the hallmark of the French studio. For all these reasons, it is mentioned that the release date could be 2024, although rumors suggest that it would even go much further.
For the rest, it only remains to note that Star Wars Eclipse is currently in development in an early phase of it, while the title is expected to reach PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
