While we wait for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage as the last title in the franchise before its revolution through games that will be integrated into a hud, Ubisoft could be preparing even more projects that we don’t know about. As Kotaku reports, a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag would already be underway to return players to the pirate fantasy of the 17th century, one of the most remembered installments of the saga. While Skull and Bones accumulates delays, this pirate game could serve to appease the long wait… or not.

According to two sources who have not been identified because they were not authorized to discuss the project, a remake of the 2013 Assassin’s Creed game is in the works following its run on PS3 and Xbox 360. The project is in its early stages of development.so it cannot be expected for a few years, although it does seem to be something more than a simple remastering.

At the moment, it seems that a team from Ubisoft Singapore, one of the studios that has spearheaded the development of the Assassin’s Creed franchise’s evolving ocean technology, will be heavily involved in helping modernize the Caribbean-based sailing game. It is unknown how the game will evolve now and if it will offer a different gameplay, although its ship vs. ship combat could go further in a new version for PS5 and Xbox Series.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers news

While Ubisoft has not wanted to confirm the possibility that the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag remake is true, the company continues to offer details of Assassin’s Creed Miragewhich will allow you to choose the order of assassination of the objectives, which means that the story does not progress linearly in the same way for all players.

That said, it should be remembered that the game that aims to be one of the bombings of the end of the year, will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12.
