Although we did not see him appear in the second trailer of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2it should be remembered that the sequel to the successful game by Imsoniac Games will feature Venom as a great villain. Now, anticipating its participation in the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 event, Entertainment Weekly publishes a new illustration of the character sowing fear and chaos.

In the game, Venom will be played by actor Tony Toddwhom we could see as Candyman in the 2011 reboot movie. “Everything we talked about [con] Venom, that feeling of strength, that feeling of fear, that feeling of overwhelming, so different from Peter, Tony totally embraces it in acting,” explains Bryan Intihar, Senior Creative Director at Insomniac Games.

It should be remembered that the end of Marvel’s Spider-Man introduced us to the arrival of a different Venom that arises from an experiment. “It’s about power, it’s about strength, it’s about being belittled, it’s about Peter getting much more involved in the creation of Venom. I think that’s what attracted us,” they anticipate from the game studio.

Peter Parker will also be infected by the symbiote while working with Miles to track down Dr. Curt Connors, though he will be dealing with his own transformation into the monstrous Lizard while the Spider-Men will want to stop their feet Kraven the Hunteran enemy that will arrive together with a new faction.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will Appear Again at San Diego Comic-Con

Insomniac Games has been very active on social networks remembering its participation in the San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place from July 20 to 23which will make us be very attentive to the news of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

For the rest, it only remains to mention that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to hit PS5 on October 20being the first title after Ratchet & Clank: A Dimension Apart to be released exclusively in the next generation without a PS4 version.
