As has been rumored, including the reasons for its delay, Sony has announced the holding of a new State of Play that will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 13 at 11:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). The live broadcast will focus on revealing news about the games coming to PlayStation in 2023 and beyond.

Shawne Benson, a member of the global external relations team at PlayStation, explained that this program will focus on present news of games already announced in the past. In this way, everything from indie and PS VR2 titles to major upcoming releases from external partners will appear, without confirming whether a first-party title such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could appear, a game for which “the world is not ready.”

“Our purpose at PlayStation is to offer the best place to play and publish quality games. And as There are thousands of developers and publishers from all over the world creating amazing games non-stopour team has a lot of work ahead of us,” Benson explained when announcing the State of Play of which no news seems to have been leaked.

State of Play and Nintendo Direct on the same day

As happened last year in this same month of September, Sony and Nintendo will hold a live broadcast to present news about their upcoming releases on the same day. In the case of the big N, the Japanese have anticipated a Nintendo Direct to find out the next Switch news, although it seems that from this direct the occasional announcement and the reappearance of some title already presented have been leaked.
