Argentine tennis player Federico Coria qualified today for the quarterfinals of the Challenger in Milan, Italy, by beating Belgian Joris De Loore 6-2, 6-0.

Coria, ranked 70th in the ATP world ranking, surpassed the Belgian De Loore (430th), after just 56 minutes of confrontation.

In the next instance, Rosario, first seeded in the tournament, will face the Argentine nationalized Italian Luciano Darderi (235th), who today beat the Latvian Ernests Gulbis (362nd) 6-3, 4-2 and retired.

It is worth mentioning that Coria is the only national representative in the Italian contest, since Juan Bautista Torres (286th) fell in the first round against the Hungarian Fabián Marozsan (297th) 6-2 and 6-2.
