PlayStation is preparing to announce all the news regarding its near future with the alleged PlayStation Showcase that the company would be organizing for the month of May. However, little is known about what would be shown at said event, beyond the sequel to Astro's Playroom, among other surprises under the signature of its studios. The presence of companies such as Naughty Dog is unknown, although a well-known leaker has offered new details of his upcoming jobs.

The person in charge of doing so has been none other than Silknight, which in recent times has become well known among the gaming community for having hit certain events in the sector. As reported through his X (Twitter) account, Naughty Dog's next thing will be a new IP, something that has been rumored for months. However, he provides more details, ensuring that The Last of Us Part III is not even a project that is in active development currently within the Californian studio.

Something that contradicts the information that stated that The Last of Us Part III could be one of the first games to land on PS6so it seems that the company's efforts would currently be focusing on achieving the best possible result with that new IPwhich Neil Druckmann recognized as the hardest work they have done so far.

Naughty Dog's new IP aims to have a space theme

For now Nothing is known about this new IP that would be in development by Naughty Dogalthough rumors claim that it would be a project developed in a sci-fi space environment. There are even voices that assure that the imprint studio's plans would involve transferring the story of Savage Starlight, the The Last of Us comics, to a complete game.

Logically, At the moment this is nothing more than mere speculation., so we will have to wait for official news from the studio. Who knows if in the strongly rumored PlayStation Showcase we will be able to clear up doubts once and for all.
