Akutami took the opportunity to include a scene of Takaba and Kenjaku in the sea splashing water on each otherleading Fumihiko to think to himself that he has made Kenjaku’s Cursed Games worth his while, this being a great reference to the final chapter of Yu Yu Hakusho in which, Yusuke y Keiko they do the same.
This is a very direct tribute to Yu Yu Hakusho that Akutami has included in the most recent chapter, since the mangaka has commemorating the 33rd anniversary of this legendary work that amazed millions of fans over the years, Akutami being one of those captivated by this great story that he created Yoshihiro Togashi.
