The horror and survival game, Among Ashes, now has a demo and can be downloaded on Steam. This title, which uses certain elements associated with said genre in an innovative way, provides a unique proposal within this genre. Regarding compatibility with Steam Deck, for now it is a verified game, something logical when talking about a title that is in development. However, this does not mean that the demo can work on Valve's “consolidated” PC.

Although this game has not gone on sale and for now they have not said the release date, what we know are the minimum requirements: Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 6 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 graphics card or AMD Radeon R7 370 and 10 GB of free space. In this sense it is an undemanding game.

A review of the horror genre

Among Ashes immerses us in a disturbing plot. The story takes us on a gloomy night in the early 2000s, where a friend invites us to play Night Call, a horror video game. However, as we enter the plot, paranormal events occur in our apartment. This proposal, which puts us in the shoes of a player who experiences a first-person survival horror game within another game of the same genreis complemented by very careful gameplay.

The demo It lasts approximately 30 minutes and allows you to play the prologue. Having said that, Among Ashes is expected to come out at the end of the year and it is now possible to add it to the wish list on Steam. Finally, say that initially it has texts in Spanish and compatibility with controls. Now, the DualShock is only compatible via USB.
