Robert Downey Jr. has spoken again about the possibility of returning as Iron Man in Marvel Studios films. After leading the MCU for more than a decade, the time of Robert Downey Jr. being Tony Stark reached its conclusion in Avengers: Endgame when Iron Man's sacrifice to defeat Thanos It became a death that many viewers mourned. After three films as the protagonist and many other appearances in the UCM as part of the Infinity Sagathere may be a lot to do with Tony Stark if he finally agrees to return. These were his words on the matter:
Iron Man is part of my DNA. He's probably the most like me character I've ever played, but Tony Stark He's still someone much cooler than me. I have turned surprisingly open to the idea.

The question here is obvious, how to explain the return of Iron Man sin ruin his final moment in Endgame? The answer to this question seems more complex than it seems. The biggest problem with an Iron Man return would be the possibility that this could affect his sacrifice.
