Qatari Sheikh Nasser Al Khelaifi, owner of Paris Saint Germain, revealed that he rejected Real Madrid’s 180 million euro offer for Kylian Mbappe, who decided to “stay” at the French club along with Lionel Messi and Neymar.

In this sense, the businessman acknowledged: “I turned down 180 million last summer from Real Madrid because I knew that Kylian wanted to stay at PSG. I know him very well, I know what he and his family want, and they don’t move for money. chosen to play here for his city, his club and his country, and for the sports project. He only thinks about playing and winning”, in an interview with Marca.

In this way, he added: “What we do, we do it because we know that it can be done. It is not our style to talk about other Leagues, clubs or Federations. We are not giving lessons and we are not going to allow anyone to give us lessons”, and he pointed out : “Every year it is the same. We are going to continue building our project”, in reference to the words of the president of LaLiga de España, Javier Tebas, who denounced it as a club-state and questioned the economic funds with which they are managed.

Likewise, he ruled out the arrival of Zinedine Zidane to be coach this season, instead of the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who is still in doubt. “We will say it at the time. I just want to make it clear that I liked Zidane as a player and I like him as a coach, but we have never spoken with him directly or indirectly,” he concluded.
