One of the great cinematographic phenomena of the final stretch of 2023 was the adaptation of the video game Five Nights at Freddy's, which broke the box office in its first weeks. For this reason, the production company has not given it much thought when giving the green light to the sequel project, which would already be underway in parallel with new video games that are being prepared for the near future. Nevertheless, the film in question would have suffered a new setback.

And as we have learned from our colleagues at Nintendúo, the filming of the Five Nights at Freddy's sequel would have been delayed again. Initially scheduled for this spring, the new window that had been given was the month of July. However, there are now numerous sources claiming that the film will not begin filming until a time to be determined in the fall, so it would still be far from being a tangible reality. Of course, this is just a rumor and it will have to be taken as such, but this could compromise its premiere.

The sequel to Five Nights at Freddy's in theaters would arrive in 2025

There is a lot of talk about the sequel to the Five Nights at Freddy's movie in theaters. The first details of the proposal assured that The film was scheduled to arrive in theaters at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025., but these plans would have changed, as new information indicates. According to them, production of the film will not start as soon as expected, confirming this delay in filming, something that could have to do with the green light from the production company to start the project. Thus, It is aimed towards the middle of 2025, at the earliest, for the premiere of the sequel in theaters, something that fits with what was revealed just a few hours ago. Therefore, we would have to wait a few more months to see the result of the work.

It is worth remembering that, although everything indicates that the project will be real, nothing official has yet been communicated from Blumhouse regarding the Five Nights at Freddy's sequel in theaters.
