Argentine third row Tomás Lezana extended his contract for one more season with the Welsh club Scarlets, who dispute the United Rugby Championship.
Regarding the renewal of your bond. Lezana, 28, commented: “I am enjoying myself here a lot. The new experience, a different culture and I am grateful to the club for how they have received me and my partner. The public here is very passionate, similar to people from Argentina, that pushes you to give more. I also like the style of rugby we are playing, we like to move the ball around the pitch, it’s like Super Rugby and I love that.”
The player, trained at the Santiago Lawn Tennis club, arrived at the Welsh team in October last year and has played nine games, scoring two tries.
The Pumas back-row thus became the latest player to sign a new contract with the Scarlets in recent months, following Sam Lousi, Rhys Patchell, Scott Williams, Ryan Conbeer, Johnny McNicholl, Gareth Davies, Jonathan Davies, Sam Costelow and Steff Thomas.
