Enrollment was opened for the Practica program, the First Temporary Inclusive Job Training Activity, aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 24 who have completed high school and do not have work experience.
It is a joint initiative of the Secretariat of Management and Public Employment and the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. It seeks to generate training opportunities and access to a first job in formal conditions for young people and, at the same time, resolve seasonal demands in the implementation of cultural policies.
Registration is open until April 12, and the places where young people will be received to develop their first job are Tecnópolis, the Kirchner Cultural Center, National Museums and the Borges Cultural Center.
On the official page of the Practica program, it is reported that the contracts will be framed within article 9 of the Framework Law for the Regulation of National Public Employment. In this way, employees are guaranteed the right to receive contributions, social security contributions and a complementary annual salary.
The person who participates in this program will carry out a specific job, temporary or seasonal, in the physical spaces under the modality that each organization requires: face-to-face, remote or semi-face-to-face. The hiring will be for a specific term that should not exceed 12 months and will not be renewable.
Currently and until April 12, the call is open as follows: 120 young people in Tecnópolis; 40 young people in the CCK; 230 young people in museums and national cultural institutions; and 20 young people at the Borges Cultural Center.
Those selected must work 35 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, since, in all cases, they are cultural institutions open to the public, whose greatest influx of public occurs on those days.
The requirements to obtain this first job are: to be a native Argentine, by choice or naturalized; psychophysical aptitude for the position; age between 18 and 24 years; high school diploma issued by public management colleges; reside in places close to the centers where you are going to work (the places vary in each case); not have a registered job or have had it in the last year; have no impediments to be hired under the regime of article 9 of the Annex to the Framework Law for the Regulation of Public Employment, in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of said legal plexus.
