Some time ago we announced that Persona 6 could be officially announced this year, However, it seems that after some latest news and rumors, that would not be the case.. The release date of the game would have been delayed and it seems that the insider who has leaked this information says that it is practically impossible for us to enjoy Persona 6 this year.
Yes, Atlus confirmed the development of Persona 6; but logically he did not offer any release date. Something normal, this way they are covered against possible delays, something that seems to have happened. We know all this from the ResetEra user Im a Hero Too, a person who has already talked about Persona 3 Remake, Persona 6 and other projects involving Atlus.
Persona 6 will not arrive this year
It seems that talking about a delay without the company having given a public release date is somewhat strange, but it is not like that at all. Delays always happen, what happens is that users only usually find out when there is a departure date that we know in advance. However, internal delays are much more frequent than they seem.

Although there is still a lot of information about what happens with Persona 6, fans of the franchise seem to be able to rest easy, Atlus would be working hard on this new title and they would be willing to surpass the greatness of Persona 5; a true work of art for many people.
