After complaints in different parts of the country due to the lack of fuel, technical teams from the Ministry of Transport of the Nation and the province of Buenos Aires, officials from the Ministry of Energy and representatives of the transport sector will meet this Wednesday to open a instance of dialogue related to claims of lack of diesel in different parts of the country.
The meeting will take place today at 5:00 p.m., after a traffic cut was carried out this morning on the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway, a key point for the access of thousands of people to the metropolitan area from the South Zone. The force measure began around 6 o’clock at the height of the Dock Sud toll booth to the Federal Capital.
The protest was carried out by truck owners who complained about the lack of diesel in different areas of the country and the overprices that are registered in the fuel.
The Buenos Aires Transportation Minister, Jorge D’Onofrio, affirmed that the forceful measure on the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway “absolutely surprised” because from the Government of the province of Buenos Aires and the Nation they have been “working with the cameras of transport” to find a solution.
