A stoppage of metro delegates will affect the subway service and Premetro during the last hours of this Tuesday.
The “self-defense measure” was announced by the union in the face of “Emova’s lack of response regarding the operational security situation at the Premetro.”
In the case of the Premetro, the service will be interrupted between 8 and 10 p.m. today, while line A will not provide service from 10 p.m. to 12 p.m., reported the Union Association of Subway and Premetero Workers (AGTSyP) through a Press release.
“Despite our claims, the company still does not comply with the agreement signed in September 2021, according to which they undertook to complete the automation of the Premetro track changes within 180 days,” they said.
“With this deadline expired -they added-, the company insists that these tasks be carried out by male and female drivers, despite the fact that this exceeds the description of tasks in our Collective Bargaining Agreement and with the risk that it implies.”
