The three cards favored the American boxer, who was making her first defense, by 100 to 90.
Matthysse, born in Rafaela and based in Trelew, is the Argentine featherweight champion, was the WBC and WBC title holder in the same category and now has a record of 17 wins (1 KO), 11 losses and 1 draw, while Baumgardner, from 27 years old, born in Fremont, Ohio, and resident in Bingham Farms, Michigan, raised her record to 12 wins (7 ko) and 1 contrast.
