Carlos Lammens, brother of the Minister of Tourism and Sports, died

Carlos Lammens, the brother of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammens, died this Thursday after being hospitalized for several days in a coma due to a domestic accident.

Lammens, 50, was part of the board of the Club Atlético de San Lorenzo de Almagro. During his stay in the institution, he served as a member and accompanied the lower divisions.

After learning of his death, the Professional Football League fired the leader: “The AFA Professional Football League embraces and expresses its condolences to Matías Lammens, Vice President of San Lorenzo and Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Nation, after the irreparable loss of his brother Carlos.

In turn, several groups from San Lorenzo de Almagro also expressed their regret for what happened. “From the Peña Osvaldo Soriano we want to send both Matías Lammens and the family and friends of Carlos Lammens our most sincere condolences,” published the club’s subsidiary in the city of Madrid.
