"All The Old Knives": Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton arrive in a new thriller

Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton premiere “All The Old Knives”a new thriller between suspicions and secrets that is about to land on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform, which released the first trailer that allows us to take a look at what is coming.

Directed by acclaimed Danish director Janus-Metz (“Armadillo”), the film is an adaptation of the novel written by olen steinhauerwho in turn is working on the film’s script, which completes the main performances with renowned figures such as Laurence Fishburne and Jonathan Price.

The plot follows Henry Pelham (Pine), a veteran agent who is assigned by the CIA to reveal the infiltrator who spread information so valuable that it cost the lives of more than a hundred people.

His quest to uncover the culprit among his former colleagues leads him from Australia to England to California where he reunites with a former colleague and former lover, Celia Harrison (Newtons). Between them the lines between profession and passion begin to blur. Who is responsible? Can it be trusted? These will be some of the questions raised by the trailer for this imminent espionage film and truths that remain hidden.

“All The Old Knives” premieres next April 8 on Prime Video, while it brings back Pine and Newton in an action lead after both released recent projects in theaters such as “Wonder Woman 1984” and “Reminiscence”.
