While the original DOOM, DOOM 3D, is surely the game that works on the most platforms in the worldeven on a McDonald’s ordering machine, there was a time when ID Software tried to diversify the brand a bit with offerings like DOOM RPGwhich came to mobile devices in 2005 when they were just that, phones and not smartphones. The thing was not bad at all, since it had a sequel, of course, DOOM 2 RPG.

Other than downloading this package from Gec.inc, the truth is that getting the game to work on PC is a bit more difficult. You will need to “download and install the OpenAL 1.1 Windows Installer, the Doom 2 RPG.ipa file, which is the original iOS file for the game”, (via PCGamer). Once you’ve downloaded a copy of the game via the Internet Archive, “copy the .ipa file to where you extracted DoomIIRPG.zip, start DoomIIRPG.exe and you’re done.”
