This Pokémon GO error is already several years old, but it is very rare to find it.
In the video game industry there are different techniques that developers use to make titles more attractive. In this sense, the graphics or -depending on the genre- the cinematic sequences have a fundamental role in turning the game into a fluid, immersive and realistic experience.
For example, now that God of War Ragnarok has recently come out, we know that the Santa Monica title brought to the consoles the technique that Alfred Hitchcock (the renowned film director) used as a narrative device to, instead of stopping the cinematic at a particular scene, it felt like an extension of the action of the open world. Of course, a sequence shot is one of the most difficult techniques to achievebecause you have to coordinate all the necessary elements in the production (in this case the animations) so that nothing is in disagreement and is linear.
Another case that should be mentioned is that of Elden Ring, whose genre is similar to that of God of War, which although it has used a more abstract story and mystery surrounding the characters, cutscenes are simply shorter sequences to introduce the player to boss fights (mandatory or not).
So now that you can roughly understand how more realistic titles have to start with model an elaborate design and, once it’s ready, they do the whole sequence, you know that each company has its own style (between mixtures of different techniques and designs). This is interesting because even though the developers make sure that everything is in order when doing beta tests to avoid glitches that will surely lead players to an awkward or annoying moment, they are not exempt from some details that escape them, of course.
Fortunately, the support team of the most important games is generally aware of all those bugs that prevent a better experience in their titles and they are constantly releasing updates which, in addition to modifying the failures, also bring new content.
There is a curious error in Pokémon that caught the attention of several players
Pokémon is one of the most commercially successful franchises and international popularity, so your team has a great responsibility to solve these problems. And, despite the fact that its theme is very different from that of the games that we have just mentioned, it does not imply that the designs of so many pocket creatures do not have their degree of difficulty. From the first generation Pokémon to Scarlet and Purple Pokémon, the collection of hundreds of monsters has motivated players to achieve the goal of capturing them all.
But, as we said initially, the fact that updates will largely fix these bugsdoes not mean that others do not arise in funny and unexpected ways.
Recently a Pokémon GO player came across a rather disconcerting glitch. While he was searching for the pocket monsters, he was alarmed to see a huge face that appeared out of nowhere on his device. His impression was such that he decided to share the screenshot on his Reddit account, DevilishCowboy, so that other Internet users could give him a possible explanation or simply find out about the existence of the particular error.
As expected, ever since many players have made jokes about this funny incident. In the screenshot you can see a giant face floating in front of the player. Its proportions look minimal compared to the enormous face that only has the features, since it does not even have hair. Then we leave you the image in question:
The glitch is pretty funny, so the user who witnessed this situation made reference to the phrase “Show me what you got” (Show me what you have) from Rick and Morty; while in the responses some fans affirmed that it could perfectly belong to Silent Hill: The Room or Andross from Star Fox. But frankly it gives a more cartoonish air to that disturbing face of the moon that appeared in an episode of Guts, the cowardly dog ( Courage, the cowardly dog in Latin America), do you remember him?
In conclusion, we don’t know why this face appeared, but Pokémon will have to deal not only with this glitch (which, according to its own fans, It’s an old bug in Pokémon GO), but to improve the experience of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, as many players have pointed out.
