The weapon may not be useful for combat, but it is for collecting.
Considering how old The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is, it’s quite strange that players haven’t already discovered all the elements that make up this open-world RPG. In fact, the most heated discussions about this Bethesda title have always been focused on the achievements you can accomplish within Skyrim and the mods that would be needed for those actions that are not possible within the game.
Are there still hidden items in Skyrim?
So, it seems that this great delivery does not stop surprising us, because recently a player found a tomahawk that heals enemies. So if you thought you already knew all the weapons that existed in the Skyrim universe, you will most likely have to take another look before confirming it.
To get into context, like many current games of the same genre, Skyrim allows its users to fully customize the builds to adapt them to your combat style. This with the aim of improving their techniques and making use of all available tools, including a wide variety of weapons, defensive or offensive spells and, of course, those that allow players to annihilate their opponents from unexpected corners.
On the other hand, you’ve probably used Skyrim’s battle axes before, which are quite useful during a duel thanks to the amount of damage they deal. These Two-Handed Weapons Can Boost Your Performance and therefore the level once you unlock various perks of the skill tree in question. In fact, the weapon – like many others – offers special abilities, such as bringing the enemy to a state of intense bleeding or paralyzing them with a single power blow from behind.
So considering that Skyrim is a pretty generous game in terms of its combat ranges and weapons, it’s no surprise that axes are common. Nevertheless, what this player found is a real gem. It might not be of much use when it comes to fighting, but it is a pretty nice weapon.
The Crystal Ax of Healing
The player in question was Doji-kun, a Reddit user, who he came across a rare weapon known as the Glass Battleaxe of Healing (Healing Crystal Battle Axe). So what is it for? Its main ability is to restore the target’s HP by 50 points when it hits it.
For his part, the base damage of the ax is 54, because players who use it can only deal 4 damage after each attack. Unfortunately, if your opponent has strong enough armor and has increased his buffs, the ax won’t be of much use, as it won’t deplete the opponent’s HP.
And, although we have verified with the previous data that it will not help much to defeat your enemies, its value amounts to 1,347, which is too high. We still don’t understand why, except for its aesthetics. But being such a rare item, players might want to have it for their collection. Here is the weapon we are talking about:
Judging by the comments on the post, in which the player seems certainly confused, several members of the community do have knowledge about it, although somewhat little. Some, for their part, explained how they could use it more effectively for battles, while others simply dismissed it as a weapon that could be kept on a shelf. But if many of these veteran players agreed on something, it is that the ax could work very well to torture NPCs.
Lastly, for some it was a bit disappointing that the ax was not more useful, since it would have been better that upon finding it, they realized that its rarity derived from its incredible and powerful abilities. And much more for the cost that is rather a luxury for many Skyrim players.
It may not serve to quickly level up, it is true, however, no one denies that the player who has it acquires a much more terrifying image than it really is. Now the question for many is whether the Crystal Ax of Healing works against undead enemies. Maybe they will discover some other goodness of the weapon in the future.
